SHOPPING AT BCC

Are all products on sale secondhand?
No, we have a BUY LOCAL section that features ethically sourced products that are brand new.

The rest of the products are pre-owned and in great condition. In case the product is pre-owned but unused, it is mentioned in the ‘Condition’ section of the product description.

Are the clothes sanitised?
Yes! We ensure every product is washed in disinfectant and steamed thoroughly to ensure they look as good as new. Our staff follows all sanitisation protocol strictly.

Is COD available?
No, we currently do not offer COD service :(

Can I return something if it doesn’t fit me?
Yes, you can return for store credit that is valid for a year from purchase date. We must be informed within 24 hours of receipt of the product in case of any returns. However, we urge you to check measurements and other details mentioned thoroughly to avoid returns.

 

DELIVERY

 Do you deliver outside Mumbai?

Yes! We ship across India at a small added shipping fee. We cater to all pin codes :)

Yes we do! Shipping fee is applicable. You can get in touch with our team to check if we deliver to your pin code.

How long does it take to deliver my product?
It takes about 3-4 working days for the product to reach you. The tracking ID is shared via email within a day of purchase.


RETURNS & REFUNDS

 Can I return something if it doesn’t fit me?

 Yes, you can return for store credit that is valid for a year from purchase date. We must be informed within 24 hours of receipt of the product in case of any returns. However, we urge you to check measurements and other details mentioned thoroughly to avoid returns.

Do I have to ship the product back to you?

 If your pin code is within our service areas, we will initiate a pickup. If not, we would require you to ship the product back to us. Your store credit will be applicable once we receive the product. The product must be in its original condition with no damage.

My product has a defect. Will I get a refund? 
We thoroughly check our products before shipping. However, in case of any unmentioned damages or defects, we will initiate a full refund. We would require pictures of the damage as soon as you receive the product to be able to initiate a refund from our end. We would require you to return the product to us. Your refund will take about 7-14 days to reflect in your account after we receive the product.


RESELLING

 What items do you accept for reselling?

We accept clothing (men and women), accessories, perfumes, sealed makeup, books and shoes for resale. We are also interested in reselling vinyl records and vintage collectibles.

What is the criteria for selection of clothing pieces for reselling?
With the exception of vintage pieces, all clothing must be without any defects or stains. The material should not look worn and must appear almost new. All pieces must be washed and ironed before sending them to us.

Do you accept only branded clothing?
We accept clothing of all kinds as long as they are trendy and in good condition.

How much can I expect to make from my closet?
As we’re a thrifting platform, our aim is to sell great clothes for less. You will be offered wholesale rates for most fast fashion branded pieces. It will not be possible for us to offer prices close to/above the MRP of the product. We make exceptions for limited edition, designer or luxury brands which are reviewed on a case to case basis.

 

How do I send my stuff to you?
You can send the stuff to our Mumbai office via courier in a sealed box. Please note there courier charges will be borne by you.  

How do I get paid?
Once we receive the pieces, they are thoroughly reviewed by our QC team. Based on the condition, an inventory list is shared with prices we can offer. Once you give us the go-ahead, we either shoot the products or put them up at our various garage sales. You get paid once the product is sold and approved by the customer. Payments are issued usually within a week of dispatch.  

What happens if my pieces don’t get sold?
At any point, if you would like your products back, you can get them picked up at your own cost. If we have done a product shoot for your product, your product must remain with us at least for 3 months so we can cover our warehousing and shoot cost. After 6 months of your product not selling, we would charge a small warehousing fee of Rs 100 per month. You can also choose to get the product picked back at your own cost.

If you would like to give away your pieces, we can donate or upcycle them. We will ensure the pieces do not reach the landfill and are put to good use.
