Thrift by Kilo – Event Guidelines

1. Minimum Purchase

  • Minimum buy: 1 kg.

  • Categories can be mixed.

2. Entry Pass

  • ₹99 per person entry.

  • Kilo pricing is valid only with a ticket.

3. Payment Rules

  • No store credit purchases allowed for kilo pricing.

  • Cashless preferred: UPI, cards, and other digital payments accepted.

  • If paying by cash, please carry exact change.

4. Weight Calculation

  • Decimal points will be rounded for ease and faster billing:

    • Above 0.3 → rounded to 0.5

    • Above 0.7 → rounded to 1

5. Price Categories

  • Each item type (tops, jeans, jackets, etc.) falls into a price category.

  • Prices vary depending on the category.

6. Offer on Select Items

  • Kilo pricing applies only to select items.

  • Premium vintage, charity closets, and export surplus are excluded and priced individually.

7. Bring Your Own Bag

  • Carry your own tote/shopping bag.

  • Help us stay sustainable and plastic-free.

8. Stock Availability

  • First-come, first-served basis.

  • Stock cannot be guaranteed throughout the event.

9. Staff Assistance

  • All items must be weighed and checked by staff for accuracy.

10. Mixing Categories

  • Items from different categories (e.g., tops, jeans, jackets) may be mixed in the same bag.

  • Final price is calculated according to each category’s kilo rate.

11. No Hoarding or Pre-Holding

  • Items left unattended in shopping bags for more than 15 minutes will be returned to racks.

12. All Sales Final

  • No returns, exchanges, or refunds.

  • Customers must inspect items before purchase.

13. Weight Verification

  • All items must be weighed at the designated weighing station using calibrated scales.

  • Customers cannot weigh items themselves.

14. No Mixing of Excluded Items

  • Items from excluded sections (e.g., premium vintage, charity closets) must not be mixed with kilo items.

15. Suspension of Participation

  • Anyone violating rules (e.g., mixing restricted items, exceeding limits) may be disqualified from this and future events.
